This oil pastel drawing, Sunset at Minsmere, was inspired by my visit to the RSPB Minsmere nature reserve in the autumn.

Seeing a photograph in the newspaper of a female refugee wading through water in the dark impelled me to do this drawing. Where is home? is the first work I’ve done that touches on social comment and politics.
